Marketing.Construction is a Canadian digital marketing and business consulting service for builders, general contractors, renovators and developers. The firm sits inside the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies; our head office is in Vancouver, British Columbia, and Ali Sedighi, MBA, leads the work. We help construction firms get invited, get found and get chosen. We don't build anything ourselves.
Why a construction-specific brand
Construction firms kept asking a question general marketing agencies couldn't answer well: how do we get on the list before the tender comes out? Generic agencies tend to treat a GC like a restaurant, with posts, ads and a monthly report on clicks. Builders need something different.
- They sell to committees. An owner's rep, a project manager, a cost consultant and a board may all touch one decision.
- Their sales cycle is measured in quarters. A homeowner may talk to a custom builder for a year before a shovel goes in.
- Their proof is project records. Scope, schedule, delivery method and safety, not slogans.
- Their capacity is finite. Marketing has to turn up and down with backlog.
Marketing.Construction exists to apply a proven marketing method to those realities, with an honest view of what marketing can and can't change.

The group behind us
- Sedighi.ca is Ali Sedighi's consulting company for growth, marketing and technology work with Canadian firms. Trades.Agency, HVAC.Agency, HVAC.Digital, Conv.ca and BusinessConsulting.ca are among its brands.
- SAZ.ca, short for Strategy & Acceleration Zone, is a Canadian strategy, AI and revenue-acceleration consultancy that Ali founded; Sedighi.ca provides its strategic leadership.
- Trades.Agency is our parent brand for trades and construction marketing, and its published plans are the ones we use.
How we work
- Numbers before tactics. We start with backlog, bid history, margins and project values. If marketing can't pay for itself on your numbers, we say so.
- Separate the buyers. B2B and homeowner tracks get separate pages, channels and measures, as described on the services page.
- Your assets stay yours. Domains, websites, ad accounts, analytics and contact records are in your company's name.
- Contact by call, text or email. No sales funnels and no pressure.
- Plain reporting. Every month: what we did, what it cost, what it produced, and what changes next.
- Facts only. We publish only claims we can back up, for you and for us. That includes not inventing reviews, project counts or credentials.
Who we work best with
We tend to be most useful to construction firms that already do good work and want marketing to match it. That usually means an owner who knows their numbers, a team willing to supply project details and photos, and a willingness to be patient with slower channels while faster ones carry the pipeline.
What we are not
We are a marketing and business consulting service, not a contractor. We don't estimate, bid, build, renovate, manage sites, supply labour or materials, or provide design or inspection services. We don't provide legal, real-estate trading or financing advice; developers selling homes or units should rely on their licensed sales team and lawyers for that.
We also won't compete with you. We have no construction arm and no interest in winning a contract you are pricing.
Our results, presented honestly
Our published case studies are results from our HVAC work. For example, BCWide.ca tripled its leads in 90 days. We show those results as proof of a method, not as construction projects. The results page explains what transfers to a builder and what doesn't.

Frequently asked questions
Who owns Marketing.Construction?

Where are you based?
Our headquarters is in Vancouver, British Columbia. We work with construction firms across Canada, meeting in person or by video call and working by phone, text and email.
Do you have construction experience on the tools?
No, and we don't pretend to. Our experience is in marketing and business strategy. We rely on you for the construction knowledge, and we bring the systems for being found, trusted and chosen.
Will we deal with a junior account manager?
Your first conversation is with a senior strategist. How the ongoing work is staffed depends on the plan you choose, and that is set out in writing in your proposal.
